The Winter Solstice, or Dongzhi, arriving on December 22nd this year, marks the shortest day and the longest night in the Northern Hemisphere. More than an astronomical turning point, it is a time-honored Chinese festival emphasizing family reunion and the anticipation of longer, brighter days ahead. In northern Chinese tradition, eating dumplings (jiaozi) during Dongzhi is a beloved custom, symbolizing warmth and the wish to ward off the winter chill.
Embracing this tradition, employees from various departments gathered, transforming a conference room into a bustling kitchen. Colleagues rolled up their sleeves, showcasing their skills in kneading dough, rolling wrappers, and crafting fillings.
