1. Maintenance of the printhead
According to the frequency of use of the printing machine, after each week or each batch of production tasks, use a special printhead cleaning fluid and a gentle ultrasonic cleaning device to deeply remove the residual ink in the ink channel. At the same time, regularly check the printhead seals and replace aging and damaged parts in time to ensure the stability of the internal environment of the printhead.
2. Scientific ink management
Try to use inks of the same brand and model that have been verified to have good compatibility, and avoid mixing them randomly. For newly introduced inks, be sure to conduct a small batch test first to observe the printing effect and ink path stability. Ink storage must strictly follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and be placed in a cool, dry, and light-proof environment to prevent deterioration.
3. Multi-faceted management
Although the problem of ink cross-linking in digital printing machines is tricky, as long as we start from multiple aspects such as the printhead, ink, ink supply system, etc., and perform meticulous maintenance and scientific management, we can effectively prevent and solve this problem.
